Teachers - Our Second Parents!!!

Teachers play a very important role in students' life. They teach us, guide us and motivate us. They give a direction to our life. They are the true legends!!

In our society, Guru-a teacher is said to be 'Parabrahma' i.e. God. But they are more likely our parents. When we are at our homes, we feel safe and secure because we are under the lovely shade of our parents, Our parents love and care for us. They try to make us happy and contented. They satisfy our necessary as well as accessory needs. Without them we are orphans, helpless and hopeless too. In the same way, our school is our second home. With all our friends and teachers, it is a heaven. Our guiding light - our teachers give us utmost love and care. They teach us and give us 'sanskaars'.- lifelong lessons of life. They motivate and inspire us to excel.

Like our parents, our teachers too give us what they know or what they have. Teachers are the potters that shape students' lives. They are the real heroes which bring out the best in us. With all the selfless efforts, they help us to reach the zenith.

The emotional bonding with teachers also help us to express ourselves. That is why, we feel free in the school. It is said that, "Experience is the best teacher" but one can truly say that, "My teacher is my best experience". Such is the greatness of a teacher. 

Earlier in the Gurukul system, students had to stay with Guru at Guru's home and learn there. Students used to do all the daily chores and attain knowledge. Students learnt with teachers and not with parents.Even in the absence of parents, teachers cared for the students without making them realize that they are away form their birth givers. 

In today's era, only the outward system has been changed but the inner love, care and respect is still sustaining. Therefore it is said, "Teachers are our second parents."
